Katie Roumel is an independent producer based in New York.
In her previous position as partner at Killer Films, Katie Roumel played a hand in numerous groundbreaking films since first joining the company in 1993. As the Head of Production, she worked on several of Killer’s most critically and commercially successful achievements, notably BOYS DON’T CRY and FAR FROM HEAVEN. In 2002 she was made partner of Killer Films with Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler. Since then, she has produced several notable films including HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, A HOME AT THE END OF THE WORLD, CAMP and THE NOTORIOUS BETTIE PAGE. More recently she completed production on SAVAGE GRACE, starring Julianne Moore, and THEN SHE FOUND ME, directed by and starring Helen Hunt.
